Tim Gaglio painstakingly hand textured and painted the walls, handmade wall sconces, an antique silver scale, wrought iron chandeliers with an African Zebra wood table antipasti table created an ambience of a authentic Trattoria. Named after the famed Trattoria Coco Lezzone in Florence Italy, the restaurant served authentic Sicilian cuisine cooked and prepared by native Sicilians.
Trattoria Coco Lezzone
was one of the pioneers on Palmetto Park road along with La Vieille Maison, a Michelin 5 star restaurant. In 1993 Trattoria Coco Lezzone was gifted to family members who have operated Trattoria Romana for the past 27 years with acclaimed reviews as being Florida’s “Best Italian”.
